Christmas Decorations Workshop
We’re making Christmas Decorations! In this fun workshop we’ll be making a variety of fun and relatively quick decorations that you can use to decorate your home or gift to friends and family. Some of them would make cute gift tags for your presents too.
We will provide:
a variety of different patterns for you to try (knitting and crochet) and, if you’re feeling brave, to personalise to your own taste.
a kit containing a range of yarn in Christmassy colours to make or embellish your decorations.
an amount other items e.g., sparkly yarns, cotton threads, ribbons etc will also be available for you to use for embellishments
some fibre and needle felting equipment if you fancy trying to make either a felted decoration (I’ll show you a quick way to do this) or a felted ball (if you prefer not to use polystyrene).
If you’d like to bring your own yarns to add to the bundle feel free. Even the smallest leftovers can be used.
Full joining instructions will be mailed to you so ensure you provide your full, correct mail address when booking.

Christmas Fair
Join us at The Anchor for a chance to do a spot of Christmas shopping and raise money for cystic Fibrosis. Tickets are £5 which includes a glass of mulled wine. Proceeds from the tickets goes to the charity. Looks set to be a fun evening! Contact The Anchor for further details

Tunisian Crochet (Huntingdon)
This is actually two sessions. We’ll look at the basic technique of Tunisian Crochet in the morning and in the afternoon we’ll cover a few more stitches. Introduction to Needle Felting
This is an adult workshop and is intended to allow people an opportunity to try some needle felting.
We will make a needle felt picture that will be mounted into a hoop for you to take home and hang on your wall.
You are encouraged to bring a picture to copy but keep it simple! Lots of details will be too tricky for a first project. We will have some ideas for you too. All tools and materials will be provided for your use.
The needle felting tools will be returned at the end of the class but can be purchased on the day should you wish.

Fun with Felt
This is a short workshop for children from 5 and up. Younger children can make a fun bracelet or badge to tie on their wrist, hair, hat, bag or just about anywhere. Older children can stuff and sew a small elephant or owl. Tickets can be booked here for just £3.50. Additional kits will be available on the day to purchase.
